While they boast a sterling record at home in 2018, the Lazers have been struggling away.
Coach Richard Marjoram said their success would depend on improved defence and team structure.
“We get the defence right and the offence will come. That’s how we destroyed teams earlier in the season,” he said.
Sutherland will be a tough opponent, as they are currently leading the pack in the Waratah League’s Division 1 competition. They have only lost two games so far and will be looking to cement their standing with a home win.
The Lazers have won six on the trot at the Lazerdome but have gone down four times during the 2018 season, leaving them in third spot and searching for a few wins away to ensure a place in the playoffs.
