With script and lyrics by John Palmer and Peter Yeldham and music by David Reeves, ‘Seven Little Australians’ is a musical based on the classic Australian novel by Ethel Turner,
The classic tale has been taken to heart by young and old since 1894, with the musical written in 1988.
The action is based around the adventures of the Woolcot children, who are renowned around the district as holy terrors.

The story centres on the actions of Esther Woolcot, only 21 herself and the second wife of Captain Woolcot, who manages the brood of seven children.
Her loving care acts as a buffer when the Captain’s anger is raised by their outlandish behaviour.
The show will open on Thursday, June 14 at 6.30pm at La Salle Academy’s Bishop Patrick Dougherty Hall on Rabaul Street, Lithgow.
A second show will be held on Friday night, June 15 at 6.30pm.
Tickets can be purchased at the door, with family tickets (two adults, two children) $30; adults and high school students $15; children and concession $10.
A light supper will be included at intermission during the production.
