It is alleged the 51-year-old used a piece of wood to smash a window and the pane of glass from a door to gain entry to an Eskbank Street home at 10am on Sunday, June 10.
According to the charges laid, the man then threatened the home’s residents, a 29-year-old man and a 27-year-old woman, with the wood.
He was arrested and charged to face Lithgow Local Court at a later date. No once was injured in the incident.
Highway crash
A Mitsubishi Triton crashed on the Great Western Highway at River Lett Hill on Sunday evening.
Police reported the driver of the ute lost control in the rain at about 5.50pm on June 10. It flipped onto its side.
The passenger suffered minor injuries and the driver escaped injury. No one needed to be taken to hospital for treatment and the highway was not closed.
