There were goodies and dress ups around the district, all to raise funds for Cancer Council NSW.
Lithgow Public School P&C volunteers ran a cake stall for the students and due to the overwhelming amount of support were able to receive two cakes for a gold coin donation.
Lithgow Library put on a delicious platter of food and coffee for residents and created a raffle with all proceeds going to the Cancer Council.
St Patrick’s Primary School also held a morning tea with students encouraged to wear a colour that meant something to them for a gold coin donation. Staff also held a morning tea, where they donated to the cause.
Portland Central School ran a fundraising morning tea for students on Wednesday, May 23.
