League tag
Lithgow Storm had two teams compete in a carnival at Orange on Sunday, May 13.
The Under 16’s team is an experienced team who started the campaign for league tag in Lithgow last year.
They are coached by a local past player Charlie Healey who was extremely proud of the girls who dug deep in the last game of the day to come back and have a strong win against Oberon Tigers.
Both teams for Storm had four games throughout the day with Under 12’s sealing their first win for the season.
Congratulations to the girls who showed excellent sportsmanship in all games. Under 12’s are coached by Roxanne Van Veen who has a lot to offer and can see the improvement from the first round.
The teams have three more carnivals to play which are set out over the next couple of months with the last carnival being played in Lithgow on July 22.
The league tag teams would like to thank their sponsors Barry and Pat Rushworth from the Royal Cabins, Wallerawang.
