This year, the Lithgow Musical Society has introduced a new feature, with a special sing-along night to be held on Saturday, May 26.
The Sound of Music follows the Austrian Von Trapp family and their new governess Maria as tensions build in the country in the lead-up to World War II. It includes family favourites such as ‘Do Re Mi’ and 'Climb Every Mountain’.
Matinee performances will be held on Sunday, May 20, Sunday, May 27 at 2pm and Sunday, June 3 at 2pm. Evening performances will be held on Friday, May 25, Saturday, May 26, Friday, June 1 and Saturday, June 2 at 7.30pm. Tickets are available at High Street Music or at the door.
