This year it’s Lithgow’s turn to host the weekend-long conference.
The three-day event will take place at Black Gold Conference Centre in Wallerawang on the weekend of May 25.
There will be a meet-and-greet on Friday night. On Saturday the meeting commences with a dinner, where the new regional director will be installed.
The new executive from the Lithgow Club will also be officiated by Shelly Brown, vice president of Quota International.
Lithgow’s former president Rhonda McAndrews will be reporting on the club's achievements over the past year, speaking to Quota’s Five Areas of Focus that represent the needs of the local communities in which Quota operates.
The work of Quotarians focuses on advocating for the empowerment of women, ensuring child development by making sure children’ fundamental needs are met, fund resources for deaf people, inspire future leaders and deliver services around the world to those who need it most.
The Lithgow branch of Quota International meets on the first and third Tuesday of each month at Red Cross House, Main Street, Lithgow.
