Residents and tourists enjoyed celebrating LithGlow on Saturday night, May 12 at Blast Furnace Park by watching a fire and light show.
Community members enjoyed watching performances by Cirkus Surreal, Hulla Illumination and Strings on fire.
There was plenty on offer for children. A kids zone was set up complete with jumping castles and slides for them to play on.
Thousands braved the cold weather and have walked away happy with what they saw.
“The amount of people exceeded our expectations but we were prepared and in the end we’ve only really seen positive comments and sentiments about the event,” acting tourism manager Simon Francis said.
