Lithgow Public School is sending off three students to represent the western region in state carnivals, with athletes from the school selected for the rugby league, hockey and soccer squads.

They will be joined by five other students selected for Western Region teams from Cooerwull and Wallerawang Public Schools.
Angus Clues has been selected for the Western Region rugby league team for the second year running.
“Angus plays centre and his agility makes him extremely hard to stop,” Ms Inwood said.
He will compete in the NSW PSSA Primary Rugby Union Championship in Mudgee on June 26-28.
Luke Doran has been selected to represent the Western Region at the NSW PSSA Primary Hockey Championships, heading off to Narellan in early June.
Jordan Morris has been selected to play soccer for the girls Western Region School team.
She will travel to Kiama to play in the NSW PSSA Primary Football Championships on June 19-21.
