A medieval seamstress, steampunk engineer and historical armourer share some of the magic behind Ironfest.
We talk to long-time member of the Society for Creative Anachronism Kate (also known as Nimue) about what to expect at Ironfest, as well as hunting for the Blue Mountains' black panther medieval style and how to make a fashion statement worthy of Queen Elizabeth I.
We get on the phone to steampunk extraordinaire Lachlan Macpherson who explains what steampunk is and the origins of his steampunk performance group the Airship Sirius.
He also tells us the backstory of his steampunk persona 'Skav' and how exactly he came to land in the wild west of Ironfest 2018.
In this final installment of Ironfest Conversations we chew the fat with the man responsible for the bombs, battles and bushrangers at Ironfest, Ian Rufus. He gives us a run down of the biggest guns and best stories he has ever got a hold of.
