The girls had the daunting task of taking on the ladder leaders in Bathurst in the first game.
They came out firing and kept Bathurst on an even keel for the first two quarters, but unfortunately the third quarter saw the game slip away.
The Lithgow side then came up against Dubbo who in the past have beaten them.
However it was Lithgow’s turn to prevail with an excellent performance by the girls, winning 52-39, which allowed them to claim third position.
