Featuring Bethany Carter as Maria and Tony Bellabosca as Captain von Trapp, the show is featuring a young talented cast of child performers in the roles of the Captain’s seven children.
The children’s roles will be played by Shannon O'Regan (Liesl), Jed Simcoe (Frederick), Isabelle Cobcroft (Louisa), Liam O'Regan (Kurt), Chloe Goodman (Brigitta), Amy Gordon (Marta) and Leela Kus (Gretl).
The story, set in pre-World War II Austria, follows the story of Maria, who is preparing to become a nun, and the strict Captain and his family.
It features family favourite tunes including Do Re Mi, the Sound of Music and Climb Every Mountain,
Performances will be held at the Union Theatre on May 20, May 25, 26, 27, June 1, 2 and 3. More details will be available closer to the show (including a sing-along event!).
