Quota member Noela williams said it was a wonderful night of celebrations.
Special presentation were made to Margaret Buckley and Margaret Hickie who have both also have birthdays in March. Margaret Hickie has made and donated all Quota’s celebratory cakes over many years, even before she became a Quotarian!
At the birthday dinner Wendy Dixon was presented with her 25 years of service badge and Barbara Orr was also recognised for her 35 years of service and with a badge and flowers. Both women were congratulated on the work they have done for Quota over the years.
The dinner followed a Quota gathering on the previous Sunday to mark Clean Up Australia Day, where members spent some time making Quota Park clean and tidy.
The Lithgow Quota Club meets on the first and third Tuesday of every month in the Red Cross Hall, Main Street, Lithgow next to Queen Elizabeth Park. They perform community work around Lithgow and fund raise for local charities.
