It is 40 years since the death of Charlie Chaplin and in celebration, the society will screen some of his great film shorts as well as a feature film.
Charlie was a master of the art of filmmaking and his silent films did not need sound - he had the remarkable ability to convey thoughts and feelings without dialogue.
One of his greatest silent short films was ‘Easy Street’, which will be screened at both sessions.
Screenings: Friday, February 16 at 10.30am and Sunday, February 18 at 2pm.
