The Lithgow Valley Film Society will be screening a special Charlie Chaplin Anniversary (G) on Friday, February 16 and again on Sunday.
It is 40 years since the death of Charlie Chaplin and in celebration, the society will screen some of his great film shorts as well as a feature film.
Charlie was a master of the art of filmmaking and his silent films did not need sound - he had the remarkable ability to convey thoughts and feelings without dialogue.
One of his greatest silent short films was ‘Easy Street’, which will be screened at both sessions.
Screenings: Friday, February 16 at 10.30am and Sunday, February 18 at 2pm.
