In the socials
Peter Matchett, Tony Holden and Bruce Robinson had too many guns for Peter Matchett, Les Pender and Pommie Williams winning 23-15. Winners on the day were Craig Pugsley Graham Hayley and Greg Hilliard who defeated Craig Brown Ian Pender and Ron Vilder by 18-12.
In a game of the major singles Ian Pender and Craig Pugsley were head to for the first 14 ends and were locked on ten all.
Pender hit his straps and was never headed as he went on to defeat last years winner 31-17.
In the club pairs
Jed Fraser and Jason Nunan are the first team into the semi-finals following a great win over Peter Williams and Barry Jackson.
It was six all after seven ends but then Jason and Jed won nine of the next 12 ends to win 22-10.

The sheets for the first round of the pennants are on the board. Please check them out and let the selectors know if you are not available.

The Thursday night Turnabout Triples are on this week. All players are welcome to play in this event just get in touch with the club or Pommie and we will arrange a game for you. Names should be in by 4.30pm for a 5pm start.

Wallerawang Community and Sports Club offers a number of bowling options for you and all are loads of fun.
Men's Bowls: Every Saturday from 1pm. Names to be in by 12:30pm by contacting the Club. Cost is $5 per person and bowlers are to wear club colours.
Women's Bowls: Every Wednesday from 10am. Names to be in by 9:30am by contacting the Club. Bowlers are to wear club colours.
