The end of the ladies mid-week tennis competition was celebrated with a gathering at the Crib Room Restaurant in Wallerawang.

The winners of the 2017 spring competition were awarded at the meeting. Margaret Vidler, Sandy Cox, Margaret Donachie and Jill Young made up the Jaguars, the competition’s top team.
Second place was tied between the Pumas and the Tigers. The wooden spoon was taken out by the Cougars.
The sportsmanship award for the year was taken out by Julie Grant. Best and fairest went to Susan Johns.
The ladies mid-week competition will start up again in 2018 on February 1.
