The young Mitchell Cricket Council outfit suffered an 81-run loss to Lachlan in Cowra on Sunday, a blow which came after falling to Macquarie by 14 runs in late October.
Mitchell sent its rival in to bat at Macpherson Oval after winning the toss on Sunday, with Lachlan seeing out its 40 overs to finish at 7-147.
Riley Hoad took three catches, while Blue Mountains’ Tom Seldon was the best of the bowlers with 2-7 off six overs. Jacob Lamb claimed 1-22 off seven.
In reply Mitchell’s batsmen struggled as only Gus Cornish (23 not out) and Lithgow’s Eli Morris (13) reached double figures.
The visitors were dismissed for just 66 in the space of 28.2 overs, five players dismissed without scoring.
