A two ball best ball sponsored by Toyota Finance was held on Saturday with both the winners and runners up breaking the magic 50 points barrier.
The winners was the team of Tom Jennings and the inform Laurie Northey who combined for a total of 53 points.
Runners up were brothers-in-law Geoff Wheeler and Paul Bailey on 51 points.
A single event was held in conjunction with Dave Muir putting it all together for a score of 46, a score that saw him beat a lot of team scores by himself. It has been a good couple of weeks for Muir who was also a member of the winning Holden Scramble team.
Best scratch scores in each grade went to: Dave Titcume in A grade with 35 points on a countback; B grade was Kevin Pidgeon 27 points and C grade Dave Muir 24 points.
Balls in the ball competition went to Geoff Brooks and Dave Muir, Kevin Pidgeon and John Grant, Dave Hicks and Gary Marshall, Mark Willmott, Rob Passmore and Trevor Cameron and Ben Oldfield.
Nearest the pin awards went to Graham Dean, Laurie Northey, Trevor Cameron, Ian Northey and Rob George who would have thought from the tee that he may have secured the Eagles Nest (30cms) when his shot finished 67cms from the hole.
Friday competition
Winner: Steve Cutler 31 points.
Runner-up: Rob Passmore.
Ball winners: Mark Willmott, Peter Thompson and Rob George.
