Portland artist Sue Daley will have new works featured at the Garden of Earthly Delights arts festival at Mount Tomah this weekend, which celebrates the Blue Mountains Botanic Gardens 30th birthday.
Ms Daley’s works have been included in the event’s exhibition ‘Botanica and Birdlife’. Ms Daley’s photo montages often use landscapes from the Portland area, as well as native birds and scavenged black-and-white photographs.
The ‘Botanica and Birdlife’ exhibition features the artworks by twenty-two artists from the Blue Mountain region, drawing inspiration from both the diversity of wildlife species in the World Heritage National Park and the cold climate gardens of Mount Tomah.
The festival is a two-day event over November 11 and November 12, and involves over fifty artists, including musicians, poets, film, visual artists and performance artists.
