A man, woman and 16-year-old boy were at their home on Mort Street when a man and two boys kicked their door and entered the house at 7pm on Wednesday, October 18.
Upon entering, the assailants pushed the woman onto the floor. An affray ensued when her partner came to her defense.
A 23-year-old man was arrested on Thursday and charged with aggravated enter dwelling, affray, and commit serious indictable offense.
He was granted bail to appear at Lithgow Court on October 26.
He is believed to have entered the Mort Street home with two 17-year-olds, neither of whom have yet been charged.
Police believe the incident was connected to a dispute between the teenagers.
Neighbour with knife
A 33-year-old woman was arrested on Thursday, October 19, after having a dispute with her neighbours on Eddy Avenue, and threatening them with a knife.
The incident took place at approximately 6pm.
The woman was charged with malicious damage, armed with intent, stealing, behaving in an offensive manner and trespassing.
She was granted conditional bail to appear at Lithgow court on November 30.
Salvos damage
Someone kicked in the door at the Lithgow Salvation Army on Main Street on Wednesday, October 18.
Police said the malicious damage to the store occurred at 3.30pm in the afternoon.
Investigations into the damage are continuing.
Bank break in
An unknown person or people attempted to break into a Lithgow bank on Thursday, October 19.
Someone attempted to forced the door of the National Australia Bank, applying pressure from beneath it, on Main Street in the early hours of Thursday morning.
An alarm was triggered alerting police. Investigations are continuing.
Move on
A man was arrested outside the Lithgow Mercury office on the afternoon of Thursday, October 19.
He was charged with fail to comply lawful direction, after being asked to leave the area.
He was granted bail to appear at Lithgow Court on November 23.
