The annual gala day has been sponsored by Higgins and Higgins Lawyers for over 30 years and this year’s event attracted a total of 75 bowlers from a eight different clubs.
The winning side of Gloria Clarke, Gaye McGuirk and Kerri Bernard from Lithgow City Bowling Club were presented with their prizes by Ross Higgins.
Second place went to the Oberon team of Robyn Williams, Inga Brown and Angel Buckley.
Third and fourth place were claimed two Lithgow City sides in Robyn Williams, Inga Brown and Angel Buckley closely followed by Cheryl Wotton, Gloria Davidson and Bev Strait.
The next big fixture on the Lithgow City Women’s Bowling club calendar is Irene Gillard Day on Tuesday, November 14.
