Portland Central School said farewell to their Year 12s at a special assembly last Thursday, September 21, the last day of term before the grade enters the HSC study and examination period.

Many of the students have attended the school since Kindergarten.
“Portland Central School would like to extend our congratulations to our Year 12 class of 2017 for their successful completion of 13 years of schooling,” Jenny Sewell said,
“It is with great pride we look back on their educational lives, many have been with us since the beginning of Kindergarten or early in their primary schooling. Students and staff wish Year 12 good luck with HSC exams and every success in the future.”
Tamika McCann was awarded Dux of Year 12 and Billy Jean Schroder won the P&C Award.
At the assembly Jayden Beasley and Jayker Smith were announced the 2018 captains of Portland Central School. Kristy McCann was announced vice captain.
