The Lithgow junior soccer season came to a climax last Saturday with players putting everything on the line on grand final day.

The unbeaten Workies Black went in as strong favourites in the under 12s decider and they didn’t disappoint taking home a 3-1 victory over runners up LIthgow City Rangers White.
Donovan Jenkins scored early to kick Workies into gear. Brock Ringin and Jack Curran stayed strong in defence despite pressure from the LCR attack.
A quick break saw Jenkins score his second however LCR hit back to trail 2-1 at halftime.
Kynan Coombs added a third for Workies to bring the final score to 3-1 and help his side remain undefeated in 2017.

The under 14s clash between Wallerawang and Workies Black went down to the wire with extra time needed to split the two sides.
In the end Wallerawang took the win 3-2.
Workies started the stronger and opened the scoring through Cooper Giles. However Wallerawang hit back and then took the lead.
Workies equalised with minutes left on the clock but the minor premiers proved to be too strong on the day.
