The networking high tea will be held on Sunday, September 24, at 2.30pm in the Rydal Showground Hall.
“This is a networking event aimed at bringing together young women in the district and also hearing about social and professional development opportunities provided by their local Showgirl competition,” Showgirl coordinator at the Rydal AH & P branch Margie Lowe said.
Guest speaker, 2016 Rydal Showgirl Isabel Hawken, will talk about her experience being involved in the competition.
Ms Hawken progressed through the Showgirl zone final to win second runner-up at this year’s The Land Royal Showgirl Competition.
Ms Hawken is a registered nurse with hopes of joining the flying doctor service. Her family operates a farm in Lowther.
The high tea is free and open to any young women interested in being involved in their local show movement in any capacity, Ms Lowe said.
If you are interested in attending the high tea contact Margie Lowe on 0407 593 344 by September 18.
