Sean Terry Drury, 20, was sentenced to four months imprisonment, which will end on November 26, at Lithgow Local Court on Thursday, September 7.
Police searched Drury on July 27 this year after he was seen running from the rear of a Main Street business.
In a search, police found a Shell fuel card registered in a business name and the small cardboard box contained replacement parts.
Drury told police he had taken the items from a car parked on Laurence Street.
Drugs found after car crash
A Dubbo man was fined $200 after a small amount of cannabis was found in a crashed car at Capertee.
Tony John Eagleston, 35, was driving with a female passenger on the Castereagh Highway 10km north of Capertee on June 7 this year when he lost control and and the vehicle rolled.
Both he and his passenger were transported to hospital by ambulance for treatment. Police at the crash scene searched the vehicle and found seven grams of cannabis in a tin.
Suspended
A Lithgow man has been fined and had his licence suspension extended after he was caught driving while disqualified on July 25. Paul Norman, 35, was fined $300 and disqualified from driving for 12 months. For driving an unregistered and insured vehicle, he was fined a total of $500.
Common assault
A Portland man has been placed on a 12-month good behaviour bond for assault and stalking or intimidating to cause fear.
Daniel Paul Rae, 35, faced Lithgow Local Court on September 7 for the offences, which occurred on August 4.
Expired licence
A Portland man, 32, Daniel Thomas Sheeham, has been fined $400 for driving an unregistered car with an expired licence.
The matter was heard at Lithgow Local Court on September 7.
Affray
A Lisarow man has been fined $1500 for affray after a brawl in Wallerawang in August. Christopher Gary Young, 24, was also placed on a good behaviour bond after he pleaded guilty in Lithgow Local Court on September 7.
Police were conducting business inspections in Wallerawang on August 26 and called in at the Commercial Hotel at about 10.50pm. As there were no issues, they moved on to other premises.
On returning to their vehicle at close to 11.30pm, the officers heard screaming and yelling coming from the Commercial. They saw several people with blood on them leaving the pool room area as they arrived.
CCTV footage showed Young involved in a fight with two other men.
