A 40-year-old Wallerawang resident lost control of her car and collided with a power pole on Williwa Street, Portland on Tuesday afternoon.

She was travelling into town from east Portland around 1.20pm when she failed to negotiate a right hand bend just past the railway crossing.
The Ford Falcon left the road and collided heavily with the power pole.
The car was extensively damaged and needed to be towed.
The driver was transported to Lithgow Hospital in an ambulance suffering from chest pains.
Endeavour Energy staff were on the scene at around 3pm to return the power pole to an upright position.
Police investigations are continuing.
