Lithgow Hospital’s Ladies Auxiliary has contributed $5000 towards a new traction unit for the hospital’s physiotherapy service.
The new unit allows for the treatment of lower back and neck pain and has been well received by clients who comment on the superior effectiveness and greater comfort of the new set up.
The physiotherapists love the new unit as it eliminates all risk to their own backs and can double as an adjustable treatment table.
