Brad De Losa will be gunning to be crowned the best lumberjack in the world early on Sunday morning as he competes at the World Timbersports Champions Trophy in Hamburg, Germany.

The Lithgow local is no stranger to the event, taking out the competition in 2014 and 2015.
The Champions Trophy is an endurance event with athletes required to chop and cut their way through four trunks in less then one minute.
De Losa holds the world record of 57.59 seconds.
He will need to be on top of his game right from the start with each race being a head to head knockout. One loss and De Losa will be out of the competition.
De Losa has been travelling with fellow Australian, rookie Blake Marsh from Cessnock who will be competing in the Rookie World Championships the day before the main competition.
He thanked Rod and Sue Hawkins for their help with his preparation and training in the gym.
The World Champions Trophy will be livestreamed on the Stihl Timbersports website.
Tune in on Saturday 4am (AEST) for the Rookie World Championship and on Sunday 4am (AEST) for the Champions Trophy.
