Swimmers came from all over NSW as it was their last chance to gain qualifying times for the NSW State Age carnival to be held in mid December. There was praise for the excellent facilities from many visitors.
The swimmers were also very excited to be able to meet a Jacob Hansford, a Freestyle swimmer from the Rio 2016 Olympics.
Also present was Matt Wilson, a junior dolphin and former Mountains and Plains swimmer who at 17 only just missed out on competing at the Olympics, coming third in the 200m Breaststroke at the trials.
