Hot on the heels of Lithgow Flash Dragons member Zayne Bray’s Australian representation in Dragon Boat Paddling, the Flash Dragons can boast the success of another of their members in the frame of Grant Tattersall.
Tattersall trialled and was selected to paddle with the “Motley Crew” team.
The team is made up of the best Dragon Boat paddlers stretching from all the way from Newcastle to the NSW and Queensland border.
The “Motley Crew” competed at the Pacific Masters Games held on the Gold Coast earlier this month.
Tattersall put a great effort into his selection.
He travelled regularly from his home base in Lithgow to training and selection sessions as far north as Port Macquarie.
His dedication paid off as not only did he get selected in the team of 22 paddlers he returned home with a swag medals.
