Karen was born in Katoomba, in the beautiful Blue Mountains, and relocated to the Hartley Valley several years ago.
Her love of photography developed over the past 20 years and living in an area where Mother Nature provides the most beautiful backdrops and subjects, it's not hard to find something to photograph in her own backyard.
Most of Karen's photographs have been taken in the beautiful Hartley Valley or the surrounding area, capturing magic moments like a frosty barbed wire, kangaroos at sunset or glorious sunrises.
Karen loves to capture simple, memorable moments and her passion shines through her images.
Karen is well-known for her fun and candid family shots at local Hartley businesses with Santa during the first two weekends in December.
Novelty photos are taken in the paddocks in Hartley and pets can be accommodated in these photos too.
The exhibition will officially open on Saturday, November 26 at 3pm at The Old Hartley Post Office Cafe, just off the Great Western Highway at the Historic Hartley Site.
Karen invites you to come and enjoy the exhibition, view her prints and maybe even do some Christmas shopping in the meantime!
The exhibition will run from 26th November until 17th December, 2016.
