Police are conducting investigations into the serious injury of a child at Lithgow last night.

Just before 8.50pm on Sunday 16 October, 2016, emergency services were called to a home on Landa Street, where they found an eleven-month-old girl unresponsive.
She was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance Paramedics and taken to Lithgow Hospital before being airlifted to Westmead Children's Hospital. She is reported to be in a critical condition.
Officers from Chifley Local Area Command attended.
A crime scene was established at the premises and examined by specialist forensic officers.
Detectives are conducting investigations to establish how the girl sustained her injuries and urge anyone with information to contact police.
