This leading financial services company based in the inner Brisbane CBD are seeking a permanent Underwriter to join growing team of underwriters.

Your new role
In this role as Underwriter, you will be responsible for receiving merchant statements from the sales team and quoting pricing of deals for services provided. You will be engaging and corresponding with merchants to assist them with issues or enquiries that they might have.

Please note, that in this role you will be required to work from the office.

What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will have exposure to the following skills:

• Demonstrate strong data analytical and mathematical skills
• Ideally, you will have experience in a banking or financial services space - experience in bookkeeping or accounting is desirable
• You will be a go getter, able to work well autonomously and have confidence in your abilities
• You have great time management and organisational skills, and be able to adapt to different situations.
• You will be an excellent communicator who builds rapport quickly
• Intermediate computer skills (HubSpot CRM is desirable)
