Senior HazMat Consultant

About the role

Based in Sydney, NSW, and reporting to the Team Manager – HazMat, you will contribute to project and account management, while also having the technical ability to deliver a wide range of services to our clients. You will be supported by a team of high performing technical experts.

As a Senior Consultant, you bring extensive asbestos/hazmat experience, are commercially astute and have proven success in managing large, complex projects.

To be successful in this role, you will:

• Act as a subject matter expert providing technical advice to clients and colleagues
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships
• Up/cross-sell opportunities through identifying variations and scope creep
• Prepare client fee proposals
• Conduct asbestos/hazmat management and refurbishment/demolition surveys
• Prepare risk assessment reports, asbestos/hazmat management plans and scopes of work to a high standard
• Lead and conduct non-friable and friable hygiene work during asbestos abatement and asbestos fibre counting

• A current Asbestos Assessor License
• The ability to travel to regional NSW locations as required
• A current unrestricted Driver’s license
