Sales Representative

Do you enjoy working with people? Our client is looking for their next superstar Sales Representative to join their Melbourne branch! They are one of the largest and most trusted equipment dealers in the world and they provide parts and service support for the agricultural, roads, civil construction, landscaping, mining, and forestry sectors! The successful candidate will specialise in their compact product range and will support Eastern Victoria territory!

Key Responsibilities (but not limited to):

• Promote whole-goods, parts, and service focusing on solutions for customers
• Build long term relationships to maximise client and company profitability
• Coordinate and/or conduct field demonstrations
• Operate machinery at customer work sites
• Develop a keen awareness of the competition and competitive products
• Build strong knowledge on the business and industry trends
• Use Company provided systems/tools to fully document, track, record, follow-up and capture all related sales activity
• Work in a timely and accurate manner
• Create creative solutions

Essential Requirements:

• Previous sales experience, ideally in the machinery industry
• Intermediate to advanced skills with Microsoft Suite, CRM & sales software systems
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Ability to seek sales opportunities
• Professional presentation
