Our Consulting practice are looking for a strong Linux System Administrator to be cross trained into becoming a Container Infrastructure Consultant.
This role will suit someone that likes to solve problems and enjoys working with end customers. You will be the technical person that can explain container infrastructure and the technical benefits for the customer. As a Container Infrastructure Consultant, you will work closely with customers on various specific initiatives including architecture, deployment, troubleshooting, and performance tuning of Linux cloud and container solutions, including Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform, automation controller, and Kubernetes based technologies. You'll need to have excellent technical abilities and solid communication and customer-facing skills. We don’t expect you to know everything on day one, but your ability to learn new technology quickly will be essential.  You will be dealing with Government clients so an Negative Vetting 1 clearance is required.
What you will bring

• Negative Vetting 1, NV1 security clearance is required
• 3+ years of Linux system administration, ideally (RHEL) or other flavour
• 2+ years of working with Container and Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) related technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, or other
• Knowledge of system management, including installation, custom channels, deploying virtualized systems, basic client-based security, repositories, and creating core builds
• Basic Linux programming in automation such as Ansible, Puppet, Terraform, Python, or shell; with excellent shell scripting abilities in Bash
• Knowledge of virtualization and cloud technologies, of setting up virtual environments
• Excellent presentation and communication skills
• Willingness to travel interstate up to 50%, following COVID-19 guidelines
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or MBA
• Red hat certifications
• Agile / Waterfall knowledge
