National Capital Private is currently looking for a motivated, enthusiastic experienced Registered Nurse to join our close-knit, friendly and hardworking Cath Lab team on a full time basis.

The extensive range of acute and medical healthcare include orthopaedics, cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, general surgery, neurosurgery, plastic surgery, vascular surgery, urology and geriatric medicine.

As a Registered Cath Lab Nurse your responsibilities will include:

  • Deliver safe, researched-based standards of nursing care
  • Collaborate with the Cath Lab team on coronary angiograms, pacemakers, angioplasty, EPS, ablations and other cardiac devices
  • Lead successful quality improvement and safety management project/s to deliver desired outcomes
  • Work collaboratively with the wider healthcare team to support patient care needs
  • Act as a role model for Safe Practice

Essential criteria:

  • Current Registration with AHPRA
  • 3+ years in Cath Lab as a Registered Nurse
  • Post Graduate Qualifications in Cardiac care
  • Flexibility to work across a range of shifts
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Clinical expertise and commitment to high quality patient care and continuous improvement
  • Self-motivated and proven ability to work as part of a high functioning team
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills, proactive, motivated and customer focused

Remuneration:

  • This position will be paid in accordance with the National Capital Private Hospital Nursing Enterprise Bargaining Agreement 2018-2021. Salary range: $34.41 - $49.20 per hour
