Migration Law Practice Lead

Your new role

• Management of the Immigration function and its associated teams
• Overall accountability of the delivery of all Immigration services and activities
• Leading the design and execution of immigration solutions for new and existing clients
• Driving the delivery of the business plan and ensuring commercial results are achieved
• Monitoring and reporting on service delivery metrics and overall performance
• Identifying opportunities for process improvement and driving quality across the function
• Managing and developing the team leaders to deliver consistent value to clients
• Acting as an escalation point for any issues within the Immigration Service Delivery team
• Attending events such as webinars, workshops, and business development meetings
• Partnering with the Marketing team to provide SME content for sales and development
• Active industry participation, building upon and expanding a network of strategic partnerships

What you'll need to succeed

• Admitted to practice as a Lawyer in Australia with ideally 10 years PAE in migration law
• Current Australian Legal Practising Certificate
• Extensive knowledge of Australian immigration law and practice
• Strong commercial acumen and proven experience in driving business strategies
• Expertise in business development, account management and nurturing client relationships
• Leadership accountability in delivering high quality results across multiple teams
• High level communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong understanding of business and management principles
