About Our Client

Michael Page have partnered with a large-scale property developer located close to Melbourne's CBD.

Job Description

Key responsibilities:

• Prepare and assist project budgets
• Assist in monthly sales and settlements budgeting and forecasting
• Assist in the accounting of cash and bank entries
• Assist with preparation of monthly WIP (stage cost) variance reports
• Assist with pricing, stage costing and estate costs for submission to management for approval
• Manage the reconciliation of allocated General Ledger accounts to supporting schedules in-line with the reconciliation procedures
• Prepare and assist with general journals
• Assist with control over Fixed Asset Register
• Assist with extracting actuals to update monthly project feasibilities with the relevant Project Accountant
• Assist with Year End Audit for relevant projects

The Successful Applicant

Successful candidate:

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Accounting/Finance
• CA/CPA qualification
• Experience in Management Accounting or Project Accounting
• Available immediately or very short notice
• Property/Real Estate/Construction background desired but not essential
