Insurance Lawyer/Emerging Partner – National Firm in Sydney

Your new company
Our client largely practises in insurance law, and other disputes involving strata, property, construction, insolvency, and commercial matters. The existing team consists of at least six lawyers, and they are looking for another experienced Associate to help manage this team, and take on some of their current work.

Your new role
You will be responsible for your own caseload of insurance matters, in addition to practice managing the team more generally. You will work on matters involving Director and office liability claims, fraud, defamation, and other insurance related matters primarily for national insurers.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be considered for this unique role, you will have the following experience:

• Currently admitted to practice as a Lawyer in Australia
• 5+ years of insurance experience on commercial-related matters
• Excellent technical skills and attention to detail
• Ideally has an ambition to progress to partnership
• Good client management / relationship skills
