Responsibilities

In joining, you’ll support the design and development of our Clients’ Cloud data transition journey to support their business needs.

As a Senior Data Engineer, in our Skilled Service Hub, your impact will be seen by:

  • Providing Team Leadership to a group of Data Engineers

  • Designing and implementing on-premise, cloud based and hybrid data engineering solutions

  • Designing, building and supporting the data transition for cloud applications as part of major technology programs 

  • Help drive innovation in data transition practices, tooling and asset industrialisation.

  • Improve and maintain the quality of Data available to Customers within their cloud solutions

  • A strong attention to detail and quality in all that you do and how your approach meeting our clients needs

  • Demonstrating experience and understanding of best practice development in Extract, Transform and Load execution on some of the largest Transformational Programmes of work

  • Working with a globally connected modern and agile team to tailor outcomes that address our clients’ requirements

Requirements

You’ve graduated in a Data Engineering/Science, IT, Information Systems, Computer Sciences or an edge-technology/sciences related discipline and have 1 to 3 years of experience working with Information Technology. 

Ideally, you will have had prior experience in development of Cloud data solutions in any of the following technologies - AWS/GCP/MS Azure. Strong knowledge on SQL and/ or Python is a plus.  Also, you would have an understanding of common ETL processes, data cleansing with tools, data analysis/reconciliation.  

You understand the concept of cloud computing, and the value of ERP in an organization. You would also be familiar with the concepts of the software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.

You’re passionate about everything tech and its interaction with how business works. You’re naturally inquisitive, eager to take initiative, test ideas to find better ways of doing things, unafraid to try new approaches and can think holistically as you help us to solve important problems!
