Assistant Accountant

Your new role

• Assist the Head of Finance to implement the internal controls of the business to ensure effective controls are in place, including proper segregation of duties

• Assist in the completion of month end close in a timely and accurate manner
• Ensure the integrity of the general ledger, compliance with applicable accounting standards, ensuring accuracy in authorisation, reconciliations and coding of transactions
• Manage GRIR reconciliation, investigate and resolve the variance with GBS AP team
• Ensure on time completion of month end journal preparation and posting, review inputs from other team members to ensure accuracy
• Provide variance analysis on monthly Internal Financial Statements to accommodate both the Head of Country Finance and business’ requirements
• Liaise with different internal stakeholders

What you'll need to succeed

• SAP experience desired
• Intermediate to advance level of Excel
• Degree qualifications in Accounting, Finance or similar field
• Work towards the CPA programs
• A minimum of 2-3 years of experience, proven track record in a financial accounting role
