They operate in the education sector giving all children a great start, engaging young people in learning, creating safe and inclusive workplaces and investing in communities for a stronger Queensland.Due to a current high volume of work they are seeking support to clear a backlog of work.

Job Description

This is an entry level position based in the accounts payable team . Your main responsibilities will include

• Working together with the Accounts Payable Team Leader and other team members to provide a high level of service to internal and external customers, including prompt responses to queries and Accounts Payable issues
• Timely, accurate and efficient data entry
• outbound calling
• Supplier statement reconciliations
• Maintaining good working relationships with suppliers
• Maintaining internal policies and procedures, and suggesting changes to ensure continuous improvement
• Attending to other Accounts Payable duties as directed

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will possess these qualities

• Some accounts payable experience
• Ideally experience in the government or not for profit sector
• Experience doing high volume data entry
• Work well in a team
• Pick up new information quickly
• Able to start immediately

Furthermore, an immediate start is available and there is a possibility to extend for the right candidate.
