A presentation was done by National Parks on what is expected to happen this fire season, what the weather will bring and how that will affect the dry grounds with the ongoing drought.
One of the main discussion points was how the fire fighters could get in the best position to fight these types of fires, in what looks to be a particularly dry summer.
Quite a few staff attended and actively participated in the guests presentation so they could equip themselves with the knowledge they need to be prepared.
