The outsiders Steve Jackson, Dick Bulkily and Dave Nunan take out the title. Their opposition Perr Piggott, Craig Pugsley and Craig Brown have all been playing good bowls and lead 12-7 after ten ends.
The Jackson team fought back to level on 16 all after 19 ends. A three and a two saw Jackson hit the front and they hung on to win 23-19.
In a game of the club pairs Greg Anderson and Daryl Archer played Pommie Williams and Mike McNamara. McNamara got the best start to lead 8-3 and then 14-7.
Anderson came back to trail 10-14 but Williams and McNamara kept picking the ends to win 22-11.
Pennants a mixed affair. The sixes took on Oberon and went down 9-1. Greg Anderson once again won, defeating Hans Braun 18-12. Jason Nunan called in his dad but still went down to George Braun.
Kim Alexander went down to Jody Taggett.
The fives took on Lithgow City and came away with a tight win. Chris Neaves team defeated Kerry Clarke 23-20. Craig Pugsley lead his team to a 23-16 win over Les Barnes. The final game was a cliff hanger.
Ian McMillan picked up a seven to give Wang a 68-61 win and a 9-1 win. Next week the fives and sixes are at home to Workies.
