“This day is possible through funding from the NSW Government, and I urge local residents to take advantage of this free service. No need to book, just turn up between 9am-12 noon,” Lithgow City Council Mayor Stephen Lesslie said.
Micro-chipping is important for lifetime traceability. The microchip means that if your cat or dog goes missing, an authorised person can identify your animal.
Puppies and kittens must be 12 weeks of age or older. Puppies and kittens under the age of six months must present with a copy of their health passport or immunisation certificates to be eligible for this service.
Only individual animals are eligible, not litters. Rangers appreciate your patience as there may be short waiting times.
