Lithgow is gearing up to host its annual Show, with a two-night bull ride event to be featured as a new attraction.

Tony Luchetti Showground will host the annual Show on Friday, March 16 (2pm-10pm) and Saturday, March 17 (7am-10pm).
Crowds will be able to follow their favourite bullriders from Friday night. The finals of the event will be contested on Saturday night with a fireworks spectacular to follow.
There will be a swap meet on Saturday morning, starting at 7am, followed by the Show at 10am.
If vintage machines are your favourite attraction, you are in luck, with a display and machine parade to be held.
There will be plenty more on offer, with the full array of rides, a ute muster, outback stockman show, lawnmower racing, young farmers’ challenge, woodchop, helicopter rides, living history displays, an animal nursery, children’s entertainment and more.

- Bull ride: Friday (heats) and Saturday (finals).
- Swap meet: From 7am on Saturday. Sellers can book with Linda Hine on 0418 688 006. Inside pavilion spaces $10 (3m), outside space $10 (4m).
- Machines: Vintage cars and tractors display will be held on Saturday as well as a machines’ parade.

Showgirl competition
Entries for the Lithgow Showgirl competition are open until March 8. It is open to young women aged 18-25.
