The Dragons’ presentation to the school was made extra special because two former Cooerwull students were also part of the visit.
Jo Banning, former Hockeyroo, and now the team’s publicity officer was Cooerwull school captain in 1988.
Steven Dean, who is employed as the Dragons’ physiotherapist, was also Cooerwull house captain and champion tennis player, along with his brother Jono.
The team is currently touring the Central West in the lead up to the Westfund Charity Shield to be played in Mudgee on Saturday, February 24.
