The girl was racing on the Marrangaroo track when she was ejected from her go-kart on the afternoon of Sunday, February 18.
St John’s Ambulance officers attended to the girl but NSW Ambulance paramedics were called due to possible spinal trauma.
The girl was airlifted to Westmead Children’s Hospital.
Russell Becker, the president of the karting club said that she was released from hospital the next day.
“She’s all ok,” he said.
“We obviously had to attend to the welfare of an injured person, we were concerned about back or neck injuries.”
He said the incident did not pose a major disruption to the championship.
“There was an hour delay but once we got going it was only a few races to the end.”
