It is a powerful documentary about the stray dogs of Athens and the people who take care of them. Author and first-time film maker Mary Zournazi, explores life on the streets through the eyes of the dogs and the experiences of Greek citizens.
The stray dogs have become a symbol of hope for the people and for the anti-austerity movement. The film is a story of love and loyalty and what we can learn from these loveable creatures.
Mary Zournazi comes from a Greek family living in Australia. She is also the author of several books. She teaches in the sociology program at the University of New South Wales.
There will also be supporting short films.
It will screen on February 25 at 2pm.
